Happy Birthday Hunter!

I can't believe my baby is now 9 years old. He is getting so grown up. He no longer lets me pick out his clothes for school (which at times has been a fight because he wants to wear shorts everyday), he wants to stay out late playing with his friends on weekends, and he thinks he can babysit instead of running errands with me :) Hunter is such a big helper, he is such a smart kid, and he is kind to everyone, which I LOVE. We love you Hunter!
It really seems just like yesterday that Hunter was only a baby. This is him at 3 months old.
Here are some of Hunter's favorite things at 9 years old:
*His favorite thing to do- play sports. Hunter loves football, basketball, and soccer.
*His favorite food- Little Caesars Pizza (yes it has to be Little Caesars)
*His favorite colors- Red, blue, and green
*His favorite holiday- Christmas
*His favorite football teams- the Ravens, Steelers, and Saints. Hunter has been big into collecting football cards lately.
*His favorite primary song- Book of Mormon Stories.
*His favorite book- The Diary of a Whimpey kid series
*He loves to play video games, play with his friends, and watch movies with the family.

We love having Hunter as part of our family!!!

Since Hunter is so lucky to have his birthday 2 days after Christmas, I really was stumped at what to get him for his birthday. He had gotten everything he asked for for Christmas. So I gave Hunter some money and we went on a shopping spree. I let him buy whatever he wanted. He was in heaven :) He bought an xbox game, a lego set, a Spongebob pillow pet, football cards, 2 football action figures, and an itunes card.
That evening we had a party with the Wangsgard side of the family. We ate pizza, played the candy bar game, and played Just Dance 3 on the Wii (Hunter wasn't super thrilled about this but it was fun :)
Christian and Mckell were really getting into the Just Dance game, lol. They were funny to watch.Hunter got one more present the next morning. Dave and I went into the doctors for my big ultrasound, and found out we are having a boy! Hunter is thrilled!!! He is so excited not to be the only boy on both the Ropelato side of the family (which has 9 granddaughters) and on the Wangsgard side of the family (which has 3 granddaughters) anymore.
