~Party with the Girls~

Mckell was so excited to have a friend party this year.  She invited 14 friends, and they had a blast! We met at our house for pizza and presents, then headed to Classic Fun Center in Layton for Laser tag and to play on the bounce toys and in Pirates Cove, then we stopped at McDonalds for ice cream.
As I was looking back at these pictures, I noticed that 2 girls are missing.  Chloe and Kailee (Guess they didn't want to be in the group picture).
We had so many girls that we had to enlist help from both our Grandmas.  Susan drove a car full of girls, and Darinda let us borrow her Tahoe and then watched Garrett while we were gone.
I'm glad that Mckell has such a cute group of friends :)

~Happy Birthday Beautiful Mckell~

Look who's 8!  Mckell had a GREAT birthday.  She celebrated at school with her friends and then that evening with the Wangsgard side of the family.
Toni pampered her by doing her nails.
Lexi did not want to be left out :)
Mckell got all kinds of things for her birthday.  She got clothes, a Taylor Swift CD, stuff for her room, nail polish, and a big ball that you climb inside of and roll around.
You can kindof see Mckell's outline inside of the ball.  The kids had a lot of fun rolling around the yard in it.
Mckell is such a sweet girl!  She is also such a GREAT helper to me.  She is always willing to take care of Garrett, she will help Lexi clean her room (which Lexi is grateful for because most times she has been sitting in her room for several hours cleaning but not really cleaning it), and she will share things and treats with Hunter.  She is such a blessing to our family.  We love her!  I love that she is kind to everyone.  Her class wrote her a birthday card and some of the things the kids wrote about her are: "You are pretty and smart and a very good friend" - Carver  "You're an awesome friend.  You have cool clothes too.  I love you like you're my sister!" - Merin  "You are nice and really smart.  You have lots of friends." -Alex   "You are one of my best friends.  I love your beautaful blond hair." - Emma "You run really fast.  I think you are going to do good in the walk-u-thon" -Conner
Mckell is so caring and wants everyone to be happy.  I am so lucky to be her mom!

~Let the 3-Day Birthday Celebrations Begin~

Mckell's birthday started with a combined Ropelato birthday party.  We celebrated Mckell's birthday with Katelyn, Jackie, and Sarah.  It is always fun to get together with cousins.
Mckell had her very own birthday cake.
Mckell already got what she wanted and it wasn't even officially her birthday yet.  She asked for a Kindle Fire (didn't get that but close, a Galaxy Tablet). Happy Birthday!

~Piano~

Garrett loves listening to Hunter play the piano.  Whenever Hunter is practicing, Garrett will make his way into the living room and just sit by the piano looking up at Hunter.  Hunter did very good in his spring piano recidal.  He played Jugglers and March of the English Guard.

~Lexi's school Easter egg hunt~

Lexi was so excited to go and hunt for more eggs at her preschool.  She got all kinds of good stuff.
Lexi is such a cutie and makes us laugh all the time because of the funny things she says.  I really need to start writing them down so that I can tell her one day all the cute things she used to say.  On April Fools day she ran around the house saying things that weren't true then she'd yell, "Opi-Set!"  I couldn't figure out why she was saying that, then I realized she meant to say April Fools, but mistook it for "opi-set".  I love her!

~Easter Morning~

The kids look forward to finding where the Easter bunny hid there baskets each year.  It's what makes Easter fun.

The Easter Bunny was nice and didn't make Garrett look for his basket.

Everytime I tried to take a picture of Hunter, he would run away or not look at the camera.  Goofball! Hunter found his basket hidden in the downstairs shower.
Lexi found her basket in the castle under the stairs.
And Mckell's basket was found under the sink in the laundry room.  The Easter Bunny brought all of the kids a new outfit, flip flops, sand toys, and tons of candy and snacks.

Garrett loved all the jelly beans!
I think Hunter was worn out from all the activities we'd done over spring break.  He took a 3 hour nap, and he NEVER naps. :)  We had a GREAT Easter!
