~Trip to the Pumpkin Patch~

Last Halloween my kids totally missed out because I was so sick.  This year I feel they are missing out because we are in the process of moving, so I thought I'd make it up to them somewhat with a trip to the pumpkin patch.  We went with the cousins and had a lot of fun. In fact, the kids did not want to leave.
As the kids were going down the slides, I made the comment to Grandpa that he should go down the slide to show the Great- Grandkids that he is still young.  His reply was, "I will go down the slide if you do".  So we went down the hay slide that you see in the background.  He was a trooper cause the slide was really hard to get up, at least I thought so.  At the bottom of the slide, he said that we should go on the really big slide, also in the background.  After several flights of stairs, we went down the slide.  Who says an 81 year old isn't able to have fun like the kids?

It was the perfect day to visit the pumpkin patch!

~Garrett~

I can't believe my baby is old enough to start eating food.  I still claim I just had him, but 2 clothes sizes later and the fact that he is eating food, I guess I better come to terms with the fact that my baby is growing :(.  I love this picture cause it shows him sticking out his tongue, which he does all the time now.  He has just found his tongue and loves sticking it out.  It cracks us up.

~Haunted House~

It's a tradition to go to a haunted house with all my aunts and cousins around Halloween time.  Last year I was so sick, because of my pregnancy, that I didn't make it out.  I was a little upset that I missed Hunter's first experience with a haunted house, so I promised him we'd go together this year.  We went to Nightmare on 13th (which is the best haunted house I've been too). It was a lot of fun!  I loved seeing Hunter's reaction to everything.  He is a pretty tough kid, but I could tell he was really scared as we were standing in line (although he will not admit to that now, lol).  He loved it and can't wait to go back.
Hunter being tough.
This was only a quarter of our group.  We had 20, but they split is up in groups of 6ish.  We had a lot of fun, what a fun tradition!

~Lexi's First Fieldtrip~

Lexi LOVES preschool.  They just had their first fieldtrip of the year, Carvers Cove.  Lexi had fun feeding the animals, riding the horse, and playing with Melyn (her best friend).

It was funny because the kids couldn't tell which end was which on the pigs. This is a picture of the pigs face.
Lexi's favorite thing of the fieldtrip was riding the horse.
We had a fun day at the farm!
