~First Grade~

Hunter is officially out of first grade :( I can't believe my baby is going to be a 2nd grader now. Time goes by too fast. Hunter has LOVED first grade. Here are some of his favorite things about 1st grade:
1- His favorite subject in school was Math.

2- His favorite thing about 1st grade was that he got 3 recesses.

3- His favorite thing to eat at lunch was Pizza.

4- His favorite thing to play at recess was freeze tag.

5- He had tons of friends in his class.

6- He recieved his first love note from a girl this year. It was cute she told him that she loved him and wanted to live with him :).
Hunter has absolutely LOVED his teacher Mrs. Hill. He said that he will always remember that she was the nicest teacher EVER! It's funny but Mrs. Hill was my 1st grade teacher too.

~Preschool Graduation~

It's official. Mckell is no longer a preschooler. Today she graduated from preschool.
Mckell did so good with her little part for the program. She has had it memorized for days and has walked around the house repeating it over and over and over. :)

Mckell thought it was great when they were able to throw their caps in the air :)

Mckell has really loved preschool. She loves all of her friends from school and has even had her first crush :) Although Dave told her that was not allowed unless he said it was OK. She informed me the other day that whenever one little boy, the one who she had the crush on, is mean to someone in class she will tell him if he isn't nice she won't have a crush on him anymore. She then told me that he starts to be nice to the kids, but she really doesn't have a crush on him anymore cause her dad won't let her. But she just tells him she does so he'll be nice. She cracks me up :) At least she listens to her parents right, I hope it always stays that way :)

~Fish for Dinner~

Tonight Grandpa Wangsgard brought over fish for dinner. Hunter said that he couldn't eat his own dinner because of the stinky fish smell. This was the solution he came up with so he could eat. :)Masking Tape over your nose. He said it worked :)

~Our Little Dancer~

Last night Mckell had her end of year dance recidal. She absolutely loves dance and it was fun to watch her. She did such a good job!!! We are so proud of her.

Mckell with her dance buddy, Emma.

Mckell loved being on stage. I think she just eats it up :) She loved having both sets of grandparents there, her aunt Cassie, and Dave, Hunter, and I all there to support her. And she especially loved the flowers and balloons and candy that she got for being such a cute little dancer :)
Dave is such a trooper. The night before, he spent 5 hours with Mckell sitting at her dress rehearsal (I had to coach Hunter's baseball game). Then spent several hours tonight sitting at the performance. What a good Dad!!!

~Red Neck Camping~

"You might be a redneck if you ...... Go camping in your inlaws backyard" Well that is just what we did this past weekend. We just bought a new camper and sold our old one to Dave's brother Jeff, so we thought it would be perfect to get together for a quick little trip to see how things in our new camper worked and to show Jeff how his new camper worked. We had a lot of fun. We roasted marshmellows, road fourwheelers, and went and played at the dam. even though this is kind of redneck, I think it is a tradition that we will start doing every year :)

Hunter learned to drive the four wheelers all by himself.
What a wild looking bunch, lol.
Ya, as you can tell we aren't roughing it :)

~You Should Be Dancing~

I never knew that Hunter was a dancer. lol. Well he was at his 1st grade program today. The program was "You should be dancing" The kids did dances from all over the world and they did different types of dances, like hip hop, disco, etc. It was a hoot to watch Hunter dance. He was really getting into it :) This is a sillouette of Hunter dancing.

Hunter's favorite dance was his disco dance to "You should be dancing" by the BeeGee's. He did such a cute job. He even pulled me, Grandma Wangsgard, and Grandma Ropelato up to finish dancing to that song with him. ha ha.

~I Want To Swim With The Fishys~

Mckell's class visited the fish farm for a class trip. Mckell was sooo excited to go catch a fish for her to eat. She loves fish :) Instead of me helping Mckell fish, I spent my time running around chasing Lexi and keeping her from climbing into the fish ponds. She was so upset with me because everytime she tried to climb in I pulled her away. I'm such a mean mom :) Mckell with her teacher, Ms. Jodi.

Lexi devising a plan to get into the water to swim with the fishys :)
