I think flying yesterday and the late night we had, really wore the kids out. They were dead to the world, and it was all I could do to get them to wake up the next morning, lol.

We had a busy day ahead of us planned. We started off the day by heading down to see the Sta

tue of Liberty.
Waiting for the ferry.

The original torch

The city view from the Statue of Liberty

After leaving the Statue of Liberty, we stopped to watch some men dancing and putting on a show in Battery Park. They ended up pulling Hunter out of the audience to be part of their show. They had him shaking his booty, they ran and did a flip over his head, and they jumped over a whole line of people. It was really fun to watch.

At the end of the street show, the rain came rumbling in. It started pouring. It was kind of funny to watch everyone run to the subways to get out of the rain. We had had plans to head up to Central Park and walk around, but with the rain we decided to hit the toy store instead. The kids were very happ

y about that :)

Hunter

was in heaven in the Lego section.

Riding the subway

Later that night, we went on a cruise around the city. This is us waiting for our City Cruise to begin.

The scenery was beautiful!

After our city cruise, Grandpa splurged and got us a limo to take us to Rockefellar Center. The kids thought this was GREAT!

Mckell kept saying that when she grew up, she wanted one of these cars. Dave made Mckell a pinky promise that he would buy her a limo one day. I don't know why he would make her that pin

ky promise :)

On the Top of the Rock. Looking at the view of the city lights was so relaxing.

So this ended our day. Yes, we did all of this in one day. By the time we got back to the hotel, we were exhausted :) But it was a fun day! The kids said that they LOVE New York City.
