For the Ropelato extended Chirstmas party this year, we went on a hay ride. It was a lot of fun. We went over a river, through the woods, and saw several elk. Our driver even fed them hay, so they came really close to our wagons. It was neat. Mckell loved singing Christmas Carols, with her cousins, as we rode along. Hunter's favorite part was when the horses ran, and pulled us really fast. Although that was not my favorite part, lol. I was on a tiny corner of hay at the back, and everytime we went fast or went over a bump I practically fell off the wagon. Hahaha. Dave had to hold onto me to keep me on. We ended our hayride with hot chocolate. It was a lot of fun!
After the hay ride, we had a delicious lasagna dinner made by Great Grandpa Ropelato. The kids then put on the nativity play. They loved having a stage to do it on this year :)
Hunter was Joseph, and Mckell and Lexi were angels.
After the play we had a special visit from Santa. He brought everyone a new pair of socks.
