Every year over Labor Day weekend, we go to my side of the family's reunion. They have been doing it for 34 years now. It started off being held in Star Valley, Wyoming (where my Grandma Smeding and her brother Max grew up). Over the years, we have changed venues several times, and over the past 15 or so years we have been going to North Fork, until this year. We decided to try out going over to South Fork. It was so pretty, green , and had a lot of things to do. Like tubing down the river, a basketball hoop, a baseball diamond, and a large field for games. It was a lot of fun. We went tubing down the river, caught fish, played games, and enjoyed visiting with family.
The river ran right alongside our campground, which was a lot of fun. The kids spent hours going down the river. Thanks to Dave and Christian for running the tubes back and forth and for climbing in the river to grab the kids so they didn't go down the river too far. The kids really had a blast!
We had fun playing a game of frisbee, basketball, an egg toss, a bubble blowing contest, rock paper scissors, a kid toss, pass the banana, etc.
You can't have the Smeding/Dutson family reunion without the pinata. :) Sharen and Hillary made it this year.

The kids had fun catching snakes, fish, and any other bugs they could find, lol.

We also enjoyed an outdoor latenight movie (thanks Pat and Dave), scary stories by the fire (by my dad), and a game of capture the flag. Hunter was so proud that he captured the flag twice :)
We had a great turn out this year! It was fun visiting with the family.
