~Saturday Drive~

After being in New York for 3 weeks straight, Dave needed a break. We decided it was time to plan a camping trip before the summer is over, so we headed up the Mirror Lake Highway to find a spot for next weekend. We had a lot of fun visiting a waterfall and taking a hike around Mirror Lake. It was the perfect Saturday afternoon drive :)

The water was FREEZING!!!!

The girls had a lot of fun playing around the rocks, although we did miss having Hunter with us (he's in New York with Grandma and Grandpa Ropelato).
Once at Mirror Lake, Dave and Mckell couldn't wait to get into the water to attempt to catch a fish :)Mckell caught her fish. (We will not mention that it was already dead, lol)

Lexi loved throwing snowballs into the lake :) Who'd ever think we'd be making snowballs at the end of July?
What a beautiful day and the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
