~Mckell's Birthday~

It's Mckell's 6th Birthday! She has been counting down the days until her birthday for weeks now. She is glad it is finally here.I made her the breakfast of her choice (stacked pancakes), and we sang to her. While getting her classroom treat at the local grocery store, they found out that it was here birthday. They sang "Happy Birthday" to her over the PA system and gave her a balloon. That made her day. She also loved the attention the kids in her class gave her while she was passing out treats, and that a neighbor family brought her a bag of suckers. To make her birthday even better, that evening, we headed up to Grandma and Grandpa Ropelato's house for a combined birthday party for Mckell (6), Jackie (15), Katelyn (5), and Abbie (1). Grandma Ropelato had gotten each of the girls a princess cake. They all turned out so cute. Mckell making a mess with her cake, eating with no hands :) Although, she wasn't as messy as Abbie, lol. Mckell got all kinds of wonderful things for her birthday. She got a swingset for the backyard, Tangled, a pillow pet, beauty stuff, games, money, clothes, Barbies, and a trip to New York with Dave and me. She hit the pay dirt, lol. One thing that really made her excited about turning 6 was a few months back she was really bummed that everyone was loosing teeth, except for her. We read a book that said that kids usually start loosing teeth at 6 years old. So this morning when she woke up, she informed me that she is now 6 so she bets she'd loose a tooth today. It didn't happen, but I guess that is something she can look forward to this year :)
