~Candy Making~

When I was little, I remember getting together, at Christmastime, with the girls on my dad's side of the family and making candy. It was so much fun, and I looked forward to it every year. Over the years we stopped doing it, so a few years ago my mom decided to start it up again with the girls in our family. It is fun. We make chocolate covered caramels, chocolate covered cinnamon bears, peanut butter cups, chocolate covered marshmellows, chocolate covered pretzels, etc. Yummy!!!!

At the end of the night, we ended up with oodles of candies. Either our neighbors are going to enjoy a few treats, or I'm going to gain 10 pounds. I think I'd better share some with the neighbors :) I love this tradition!
