~Easter Weekend~

I absolutely LOVE the holidays!!! I love spending time with my family, the memories that we make, and just seeing the excitement on my kids' faces will all of the holiday activities. This has been a super busy weekend. We made an Easter art project, decorated eggs, went on several Easter egg hunts, went to several parties, filled Easter Eggs, etc. We had a blast!!! And this year it was fun to see Lexi run around getting eggs. She really got the hang of it. She would gather some eggs in her basket, dump them out, gather them again, dump them out (she did this for hours, and would get mad at me if I tried to take any of the eggs away :).Our cute family on Easter morning. The Easter bunny brought the kids all new spring outfits. Don't they look cute?

I wanted to get a cute picture of the kids together, but Lexi wasn't having it. She just wanted her Daddy. She is such a Daddy's girl. When he is home, she is glued to his side. It is funny to see her follow him around the house, where ever he goes she goes. She also will get mad at anyone who tries to sit by him, give him a hug, or who kisses him. If Mckell is sitting on Dave's lap, Lexi will run over to them screaming and start hitting Mckell until she gets off of Dave's lap :) She does the same thing to Hunter and to me. She doesn't want to share HER daddy with anyone:) It cracks us all up.
Decorating Easter Eggs

Our local grocery store, Lee's Market, does a Bunny Trail on the Saturday before Easter. It is super cute! The kids get a map of the store's bunny trail, and then follow it to find the different treat stations. The kids got cheese sticks, candy, balloons, a box of cupcakes, a bottled drink, etc. But the best part was getting to meet the Easter Bunny.
My mom and Mckell outside Rainbow Gardens (where the Smeding girls had our annual Easter lunch).
Mckell, Sarah, and Katelyn at the Ropelato's Easter Egg Hunt/ Party.
The Ropelato grandkids getting ready for the Easter Egg Hunt.
Hunter hit the jackpot!!! He found $96 in the Easter Egg hunt. Mckell only found $1, but she was happy.

So at our house, the Easter Bunny hides the kids Easter baskets and leaves them clues to find their baskets. The kids LOVE running around the house trying to find out where their Easter basket has been hidden :)

What the Easter Bunny brought the kids at Grandma and Grandpa Wangsgards house.

The kids had fun playing on the farm in Malad, for the extended Wangsgards family party.

Mckell in the chicken coop gathering up the chickens' eggs.
The extended Wangsgard family Easter eggs hunt. The kids lining up, getting ready to go outside and hunt for eggs.

Lexi is searching for Easter eggs. With all of our parties and egg hunts, we have way too much candy :) But the kids really had fun, and that is all that matters :)

No kidding...maybe I will sneak my kids over to your easter egg hunt next year!! Ha ha!!! Your pictures are all DARLING. I am feeling like a huge slacker. I think the only Easter pictures I took this year were from my phone with the Easter Bunny at Lee's and they accidentally got deleted.
