~Happy Birthday Grandpa~

Grandma Wangsgard threw a big birthday party for Grandpa this year. Well really, the family Halloween party just happened to fall on his birthday, so we celebrated it at the party. Grandma got his favorite, apple pie.

The kids all dressed up in their costumes. Lexi is Tinkerbell, Hunter is a Soccer Player Zombie, and Mckell is a Flower Princess.

Dave and I were party poopers, we didn't dress up :(

~Oo-oo-oo-oo! This is Halloween~

Tonight was our first Halloween party of the year. A fun family up the street had a Halloween party. They had tons of games and lots of food. The kids had a blast!The Donut on a String game. Afterwards, Hunter told me, "Mom, that game is harder than it looks" :)

~ A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch~

Today Becky and I took the kids to Black Island Farms. We had a lot of fun and could have spent the whole day there. The kids just didn't want to leave :) We had fun picking out our pumpkins from a pumpkin patch, playing on the slides, going through the corn maze, riding on the train, and much, much more. It is such a fun place to visit at Halloween time.

The kids absolutely loved picking out there very own pumpkins.

Mckell is such a little mother to Jocelyn. She "had" to help her with her pumpkin, going up and down the slides, and on the train. She cracks me up, but I guess Jocelyn likes the pampering because she lets Mckell do it :)

Such a fun day! It is days like this that I really like having the kids home from school.

~What We Do While Dave is Elk Hunting~

It has been a tradition for the past several years that while Dave is away elk hunting, the kids and I paint pumpkins. We have alot of fun doing this, I LOVE spending time with my kids!!!

Mckell named her pumpkin Rosie (that is her favorite name at the moment. She names all her dolls Rosie, has named her Grandma Ropelato's new kitten Rosie, and even told me the other day that she thinks Rosie is Mckell in Spanish. Ha ha, she cracks me up.:) On Hunter's pumpkin he painted Mario, Luigi, and Wario from Super Mario Brothers. Yes, I think he plays video games too much. :) HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

~Family Vacation~ Huntington Beach~ Day 5~

Hunter woke up this morning bummed out. When I asked him what was wrong, he said that he was sad that we were going home today. He wants to stay here in Disneyland. I do too, but I think Dave and Mckell want to go home. They have both come down with something, and have both had pretty high fevers. They were both troopers though and we all enjoyed a day at the beach. The kids thought it was so fun to play in the waves, collect sea shells, and dig in the sand. They thought the ocean was cool.

Hunter tried to outrun this wave, but he didn't run fast enough, hahaha. Can you see him in the wave? He's there.

The wave knocked Hunter down, and took his shorts with it, hahaha.
